Imitiaz Hussain, a former director of construction company Bradford Builders (UK) Ltd has been given an eighth month prison sentence suspended for two years and 200 hours community service at Manchester Crown Court for failing to comply with two prohibition notices and a breach of regulation 6(3) of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 (failing to take suitable and sufficient measures to prevent falls).
The case arose from roofing work where scaffolding was missing guard rails and scaffold boards.
