Public Procurement Solicitors

We provide advice on all aspects of public procurement law within the United Kingdom and European Union. We can assist clients through the competitive Tender process, Claims and Dispute Resolution and advise on European Union Public Procurement rules.
The over-arching principle of EU procurement law is that procurement is to be opened up to wider competition and that tenderers from across all members states have an equal chance of securing contracts put out to tender by other EU countries.

The Public Procurement Regulations 2015
In March 2015 the new Public Procurement Regulations 2015 came into force offering greater flexibility for applicants and contracting parties alike when it comes to issuing procurement contracts. Small to medium size businesses will also benefit from various changes such as the abolition of pre-qualification questionnaires, stricter publishing rules surrounding the Government Contract Finder, and the requirement for public contracting bodies to pay undisputed invoices within 30 days.
